Seed Cycling Balls
These are dangerously good — and a nutritious way to support your hormones each month. I had high hopes of eating one of these balls per day to get my daily dose of flax and pumpkin seeds during the first half of my cycle. Let’s just say they are were so tasty, it was hard to have just one. Enjoy these with a cup of your favorite tea.

Ingredients:
1 cup ground pumpkin seeds -- ideally soaked and dried beforehand
1 cup ground flax seeds
1/3 cup almond butter
1/4 cup honey
splash of vanilla extract — around 1 tsp
generous pinch of cinnamon — around 1 tsp
small pinch of salt — around 1/4 tsp
Instructions:
I used a food processor to combine the ingredients in this recipe. Add the ground pumpkin seeds and flax to the bowl of the food processor. Add the almond butter and honey. Pulse until the ingredients combine and resemble wet sand. Add the vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Pulse to combine. Use a tablespoon to scoop the dough and form into 2 tablespoon balls. Don't worry too much if you don't make exactly 14 balls. These can be stored in the fridge or freezer for a long time — if you don’t eat them all.
Enjoy!
